Aldehydes, instead of ‘-ol’ you add ‘-al’, so from ethane you get ethanal.
Ketones, add '-one', so a ketone of a hexane would be hexanone, and amines, you just add '-amine' to the end so methenamine or propanamine. Super easy.
For caboxylic acids, you have to identify it's an acid, so you end in acid, that's obvious, but instead of adding '-ylic' you add '-oic'.
