So I know your involvement with this MMIW movement began even before Ashley went missing.

What can we take from those lessons to drive MMIW forward and make sure that we don't have any more stolen sisters?

Can you tell us a little bit more about your connections to MMIW and offer some wisdom for how we move forward?

Also, educate yourself on the MMIW movement and what is being done policy-wise to address disparities and jurisdiction resources and data accuracy.

I'm joined in conversation with three women, each of whom have a connection to the MMIW movement.

I think that there's a tremendous amount of invisibility in the MMIW movement.

So, Gloria, you are an icon and a driving force behind many movements, and now you've turned your attention toward MMIW.

I know personally, I have to take time for myself when I've been enmeshed too deeply in MMIW work because of how hard and emotionally exhausting it can be.
