How to pronounce “cellar”(adj) in English

Because for us cellar door just sounds, I don't know.

There's this old chestnut about cellar door being the most beautiful phrase from a phonetic standpoint in English.

That was Tolkien that said that most beautiful word was cellar door, and of course he didn't mean cellar door, he meant,

If I chilled this down, and proper beer serving temperature is usually in the cellar temperature range, so about 50 or so degrees.

And even so of course, that thing is entirely subjective, but you can tell though, if somebody thought cellar door was really beautiful.
