There's a marriage compact, it's made by this guy, Wladyslaw Jagiellonczyk, his son, who was going to inherit the crowns, instead dies under his horse
at the Battle of Mohacs in 1526, which allows the son's brother-in-law, a Habsburg, to lay claim to Hungary and Croatia and so on.
