How to pronounce “gushy” in English

So it turns out that mushy gushy was really not that much in the cards anyway because people have very complex feelings about their mothers,

That was just me because I'm not a big mushy gushy fan.

I'm going to go ask people to write a piece on their mother, only one lesson, not 10, story based, and it cannot be mushy gushy.

It's perhaps this development, I suspect, that's perhaps typical of the British uncomfortableness with sincerity-- anyone being complimentary simply being gushy
