I don't mean my Schaeffer name, but my father's.

So Schaeffer, Jonathan Schaeffer's, program was called Chinook, which is named after a wind that blows through Canada.

Because there are a lot of people who revere the Schaeffer name out there in kind of a guru presence kind of way.

And indeed, that's what Jonathan Schaeffer, a computer scientist still at the University of Alberta, set his computer program to work doing, hunting down

And as his program Chinook got better and better at checkers, Schaeffer wanted to test it against the best

So of course, you know, Schaeffer wants to beat this guy with Chinook.

Today, it's my great pleasure to introduce a representative from the collective known as Frank Schaeffer.

At the same time, some of my own evangelical friends from my past because my father, Francis Schaeffer, was this well-known evangelical.
