How to pronounce “oysters” in English

Oysters, clams, any pure protein.

oysters, the four species of sea turtles, the sharks.

oysters as you can stomach.

Oysters.

So oysters grew from slimy mud, cockles grew from sandy mud, limpets grew from rocks, and so on.

But oysters are this quintessential New England food.
