How to pronounce“monoglot”in English

I'll just second what Anne said, which is that I am not a hyperpolyglot or a polyglot in any regard.People I think have said, "How could a monoglot write a book about this without really understanding?" Once you get and spend a little bit of time around the hyperpolyglot world and that community,you realize how many people really have a stake, a personal stake, in claiming and proving that they have lots of languages.
