You know, come back from a night out drinking and you want to eat something and there's no food in the fridge but there's Bloody Mary mix and there's spices, and there's potatoes. So, you make a potato curry and you eat it with rice, you know. Or a chicken curry with Bloody Mary mix, but
And I remember. So then we all just-- I was an active volunteer at that point in this very grassroots group called the Massachusetts Freedom to Marry Coalition where we would go to prides, and serve wedding cake, and do all sorts of public education, speakers, bureaus-- real grassroots organizing and activism.
