So I think that the great gift of Invisible Children and of "Kony 2012" is perhaps nothing to do with Africa.

I mean, "Kony 2012," this is the 10-year anniversary of a campaign that attempted to, as they put it,

But he then, as he's teaching one day in Konya, he's sitting beside a well, and his students are asking him questions on Quranic exoduses, commentary

There they met a young boy called Joseph who had been targeted by the Lord's Resistance Army, then headed by a man called Joseph Kony.

And it left out lots of really, really important facts, the most important of which was that Joseph Kony at the time
