In your considerable work in the Middle East, which has stretched over many years, Oliver, I know you have drawn lessons from the experience in Northern Ireland. How did disarmament work there in terms of the sequencing? And are those experiences relevant in this case?
But I don't know London in the way that I know Ireland. Ireland's just in your bones. And I remember when I was-- when I came here first, I met all these fabulous friends.
And we've talked about it a little bit just now. Ireland went through this massive transformation in a relatively compressed period of time, I think. Yeah. But I'd love to get your perspectives on that.
And Ireland is no good, either. Ireland is the laggards of Europe. I'm ashamed to say it.
Because it's easy to say, climate emergency. Ireland introduced a climate emergency-- our government did-- about six months ago. But there's no emergency.
But I think Europe is setting that standard now. Ireland is very exposed to the effects of this in the oceans.

Up until UCL's foundation, you could not get a college degree in England and Scotland, I believe. Ireland ran ahead of us slightly on this. But basically, a great tolerant progressive institution that very much believed that eugenics was the future of a progressive society.
And I'm going to tell you the story about Irena and Jean. Irena and Jean worked at Unilever, one of the large global consumer packaged-goods companies. And they had the idea for an affordable line of children's personal care products, shampoos and the like.
But they said no. Irena and Jean were told no because Unilever is very Darwinian, as are most large consumer packaged-goods companies when it comes to new products. They believe, if they introduce something new, something they already sell will have to come off the shelves.
