How to pronounce “interferon” in English

I was one of those guys, I did every-- because I'd basically been told I was dying for 20 years.And I wouldn't do the main thing they wanted me to do, which was interferon, because it was a very hard, hard treatment, and people would oftencommit suicide on it or-- it was worse than the disease.
