How to pronounce “handoff”(verb) in English

So one thing that we were told by our domain experts is that this was in an air space wherethere may have been controllers handing off the aircraft, so meaning maybe one controller was managing it and then he was supposed to handoff to another controllerbecause he reached, say, a boundary in the air space.
