So just quickly, because Amory has given the Conradin von Gugelberg lecture twice over the last 35 years himself, I want to make sure

I'm a member of the class of 1987 and I wanna welcome you to the Annual Conradin von Gugelberg Memorial Lecture on the Environment.

The CVG Fund at the GSB is named after our MBA class of '87 alum, Conradin von Gugelberg, who died in 1988.

This slide is devoted to contextualizing this talk today, and to talk just a minute about Conradin von Gugelberg.

But before I do that, let me first tell you how pleased I am to be here in this Conradin von Gugelberg Memorial Lecture.
