I thought about Google's slogan, which is, "Don't be evil." So part of it is "don't be evil" when it comes to credit and blame. But I think no less important, it's also "don'tassume evils." Don't look for evil where there may not be evil in your co-workers. Or, don't look for failure. Don't look for under-performance. One of the consistent themes in the book isabout how helpful it is to give people the benefit of the doubt. That if you look for blame, if you look for failure, you're more likely to find it.
