non-duality here in the San Francisco Bay area so I'm we're kind of curious why have you come to be so popular for
Non-duality . Not duality , but the non-duality of it.
True non-duality is experienced through this realization.
There's a duality to it.
I think the duality , I think the reinvention of one's self in the model of trying to achieve the American dream-- all of these people, to some extent,
And there's that duality that I think really runs throughout the whole book.
An interesting duality .
and right and this duality and I have this uh this kind of obsession at the moment with ethics and tech ethics
It was called Duality .
forth and the duality .
I love that you're talking about duality .
that allow us to have that duality and that complexity of thought that aren't primed for a quick reaction.
I think there's like a duality there, right?
There's complementarity or wave-particle duality -- complementarity being the idea that Nature has two faces, the wave nature and particle nature.
So you know the wave-particle duality .
Because what you're talking about is the duality of existence, where you're Black, and you identify with your Black culture, and you also are Japanese.
I'm going to share it with you-- is duality .
So it kind of-- I think there's a duality there.
We live in a society that is ruled by duality , that is ruled by-- you're too fat, or you're too skinny, or too smart,
You know, the duality of fantasy and reality.
But they haven't necessarily put it into a duality .
With this duality that you're talking about-- and I think it reflects on a lot of the music that you do.
Our book "Friend and Foe" is about this duality where we're both cooperating and competing with people.
But there's another aspect of the notice duality that I think is important to understand.
We're in a world that there's a real duality , I think, in our environment today.
On the top right, you'll see the duality , which is my aunt, who is very effervescent, and friendly, and is always trying to make everyone happy.
What I had to basically really internalize and hold is just the fact of duality , that at this point,
And with writing, there's always a duality .
And then, also comes the duality of how are they a good guest?
In our day-to-day lives we're constantly torn between opposites and duality , between competing desires and needs.
Yeah, that was an interesting duality .
Especially if you're thinking about satirizing American culture, it has this duality of a glossy surface and a dark underworld.
So it's interesting, I think, the duality in that.
We may not agree on everything, but we accept the duality between us.
This is such a cool thing, such a cool duality for these two very different people to be kind of coexisting within.
