I mean, when I came into it-- that was probably a year into your doing sit-down interviews with people. Draper had done a number of sit-down interviews with people from really across the spectrum. And part of that was seeing how people were on camera.
What's interesting, too-- you asked about the straight white man and access and the food, the eating, at Tee's house. Draper had the brilliant idea. Our DP was an old friend of mine, who's a straight white man.
Around the time, we were thinking of doing this dinner at Tee's home. And Draper said, let's just leave Mike in there with them. And we went off for an hour or two and just let them go.

So I went back to literally just four geometric shapes, the circle, the triangle, the square, the rectangle, and basically cutting them and putting them on a body and seeing how they would drape on a woman's body. And that was the beginning of Zero, right at the beginning.
So, you want to drape over so it's a little longer than the rice ball.
And I'd studied inertial and digital under Doc Draper at MIT.
And I just walked behind the chair and just draped my arms over the chair.
And just-- yeah, all kinds of things. I think of lot of credit goes to Draper for his style of engaging people. You don't come on as a person who's going to, well, let's get the story, and then you'll never see them again.
Or is it really the same from Don Draper's time today and tomorrow?

I am curious-- so with TV shows like "Startup U" that focuses on Draper's program, and also things
What else? There's no background drapery.
And that's him singing, and he scored all this as well. And I think there was a sensitivity toward-- and I think part of Draper-- musical vision of this, was something that was very rhythmic. Because you have that rhythm of the city accompanying these personal stories.
And we're walking past. And of course, then I realized that Draper is no longer walking here and that he's stopped and is going back to wait until they take a little break. And said, could I come back one day?
