How to pronounce “brecht” in English

I'm doing a little Brecht piece.

But they are just trees, in the sense that Brecht meant, or seemed that way to me in the times we live in now.

Now, speaking of citizens, I'm going to read a couple of lines from a poem by Bertolt Brecht called "To Those Who Come Later."
