So what I do in my work is, I use the tools of semiotic analysis to surface critical insights for marketersand branders and organizations, anybody who has a brand that they're trying to get out there, to help them understand the context in which they'reoperating. There's a saying in marketing-- I'm not actually in marketing, but I consult to marketers-- that it doesn't matter what your brand communicates.
