Throughout the conference, the one thing that I realized is that the ocean was presented both as a solution to climate change and as a system that is highly vulnerable to disturbance. We heard about carbon storage and alkalinity enhancement, but also about mining and warming impacts. So my question is, do you think there is a risk that we begin treating the ocean primarily as a tool rather than
agency of the system goes up, it is no longer just about persuading it to do things. It's a bidirectional relationship, what Richard Watson would call a mutual vulnerable knowing. stands vulnerably in their truth and offers themselves their experience, their wisdom to the collective.
