Why does untethering matter?
Remember we saw that untethering by generation?
So the idea of untethering is going to amplify in the future.
So as we talk about this untethered workforce that's sort of welling up, there's a whole infrastructure now that's rising up around this to meet
So this idea that we're untethering from things that, again, people did routinely for generations, younger people are just unhooking.
And so this idea of being untethered from the workplace is really vexing for a lot of managers.
So I'm talking about untethering and taking off from the workforce.
This thing over here seems very untethered to the rest of the movie.
When you unplug from all those things or untether , that suddenly frees you up to work anywhere, right?
So obviously, untethering brings up a lot of challenges for us personally, but also in the workplace that we need to think through a little bit more.

And the first of these movements, if you will, is the idea of the untethered society.
So today I'm going to focus on the first of this triad, the idea of coming untethered .
