It was crazy. It was fun. Chronicle Books in San Francisco was also interested. They were gonna make it a really nice gift book. And then there was Running Press. In the end,my agent pitched to 27 publishers. Actually, it was 28 publishers. Twenty seven said no, and one said yes. One's all it takes.So, Running Press agreed to publish my book and I signed the contract on June 16th of 2010. So it's been a long road. It's been two and a half years. When I wrote that first
