How to pronounce “the color purple” in English

I love "The Color Purple," but you know what I'm saying?

And it's crazy because for the way that I came into "The Color Purple," I had to audition for "The Color Purple," the movie,

it's almost like watching "The Color Purple."

And then you've been on "The Color Purple.

So there was a production of "The Color Purple" opening in London, a musical of "The Color Purple" in, I think, 2019.

But no one pointed out the fact-- and I didn't know until Nicholas Hytner, the director, told me-- that Alice Walker, who wrote "The Color Purple,"

I did a film years ago called The Color Purple.

First character is Shug Avery from "The Color Purple."

and said this is unacceptable and you can't be in "The Color Purple" because of it.

So I would say it's a kind of a tie between "The Color Purple" and "Kinky Boots".

But yes, it was to do with "The Color Purple" and the fact that the actress, I believe, who was starring in the adaptation of "The Color Purple"

And your dad, I believe, you watched "The Color Purple" with first, 10 years ago, maybe a little longer.

And then cut to 10 years later, I starred in "The Color Purple" on Broadway.

So my point is, when I went to go see "The Color Purple", for me and my experience, I just cried so much.

I don't even know why I like the color purple.

We want to do something different, and we chose the color purple.

And I think we can make parallels to The Color Purple, too, I imagine, with
