It is my pleasure to introduce Samia Halaby. Samia was born in Jerusalem and spent early 12 years of her life in the region, first in Jerusalem before moving to Beirut. After that, she moved to the US, where she currently resides.

Her works are exhibited in some of the most prominent museums around the world, from the Guggenheim, both in New York and in Abu Dhabi, to the Chicago Art Institute,
The list goes on and on. Samia is also the first woman to hold the position of Associate Professor at Yale School of Art, where she taught for 10 years. How's that for an incredible achievement?
