And today, on the Global Day of Unplugging, she is here to talk to us about her newest work, "The Art Of Rest, How To Find Respite In The Modern Age." There are a lot of books out there about sleep.But the topic of rest is different.
So much has spilled, and I've spilled so much, been spilled onto a seat that saved me on the occasion I needed to spill into someone. Respite or retreat, here's fellowship, a seat reserved any day of the week, this Thanksgiving family of strangers, ancient hall brimmingwith inebriated comrades, a cheers to you, our glasses raised and emptied.
Why? Because I feel like I'm getting knowledge every time I buy one. It's a respite in your apartment or your house that gives you a bigger picture, a bigger vision in what you're doing.
And throughout these first few years, what do you see as something that your team has done really well at Honor? or their parents as respite care.
And it really got me incensed. And things like come respite centers for disabled people, places to have good care would be given, those are very ad hoc and horrible places with just sort of infrastructure that really slightly de-humanized the experience that was already a kind of traumatic experience for people without ability.

And if anyone's ever looked at a Thai curry recipe that had, I don't know, 100 ingredients, and you make this paste, this is sort of a nice respite from that. You can make this, and you don't need to source a lot of hard to find ingredients.
Because even then in the 1800s, it was recognized, wow, these cities are stressful, smelly, kind of awful places to be at times. And bringing in the natural world really offers that respite . And then I think that's what's changed now, though, is that it used to be only that.
where it is also 120 degrees on the flight deck. And so to get a little bit of respite from that type of physical strain, they had to get water. So whether it was getting water jugs and getting that conditioning and getting them to go to college and finish up their degrees that they had
And actually, three out of the four movements are downright angry most of the time, just really, really full of rage. There are moments in all those moments of respite from that, but they're brief. So it's a very dark and very, very angry expression, with the exception of the slow movement, the third movement.
And we've been feeling that at our shows, especially in the USA. People are coming to our shows for a moment of just-- Respite . Yes. And so you mentioned that there's a vein of seriousness in there.
