How to pronounce “polly” in English

Polly has published stories in an extensive amount of well-read publications and magazines.

My point is not to be Pollyanna.

It's not to become some Pollyanna.

And so even if we were Pollyannas, you wouldn't have to worry about things changing immediately.

And I was a very naive and Pollyanna and maybe "dumb" is just a good word, in the sense that I sort

Now I'm not a Pollyanna. Not every woman we met on the street was like this, but I can say that she was. And it was really a pleasure to meet her.

And I don't think it's pollyannaish, I don't think it's a case of, "Oh, no matter what we do, you know, it's sort of doomed."

And I don't think it pollyannish.

Yet like Tom Sawyer listening to his Aunt Polly reproach herself after believing him to have drowned, the temptation remains to rush out from under the bed

I thought it was a really great way to incorporate Polly Murry into the film as well and her sort of impact as a pioneer in this space too.

So, Polly, let's start off a little bit about your upbringing and kind of how your career started.
