David Oyelowo : But when I, Elijah Kelley: but you’re still black.

David Oyelowo : Treated very badly, very badly.
David Oyelowo : Well, I mean, sorry Rick.
David Oyelowo : Elijah cried.
David Oyelowo : He cried.
David Oyelowo : And also we were very aware that we were being afforded a completely unique opportunity.
David Oyelowo : You know you do that anyway.
David Oyelowo : He cried and did Elijah Kelley: Why you keep telling people I cried?

David Oyelowo : Well, that means we did our job well that you think that we were actually, I was never anywhere near an explosion.
David Oyelowo : That’s where the joy of all the David Oyelowo : That’s where it would have ended.

David Oyelowo : That was all make believe.
David Oyelowo : That’s how real, I’m serious.

David Oyelowo : But we also learned that they’re show offs as well.
David Oyelowo : I did so many interviews with Roscoe where, especially if there’s a pretty young lady, he’ll go, “You know when there was lightening that blows up the
David Oyelowo : Yeah.
David Oyelowo : Oh my goodness.
David Oyelowo : Literally.
David Oyelowo : “I danced with her all night!” “No you didn’t!” Elijah Kelley: “Shut up!
David Oyelowo : Which is why I died, cause he didn’t know.
David Oyelowo : Well like Elijah said, they were heroes.
David Oyelowo : And the first lady.
David Oyelowo : Old and Balding.
David Oyelowo : I cannot believe you just said that.
David Oyelowo : But it was just so incredible to be in that building with all that history, both negative and positive, and then to be standing in a room waiting for the president,
David Oyelowo : And he walked in and Michelle Obama's giving hugs and the real Tuskegee Airmen were there.
David Oyelowo : So, you know, to get to do the movie and then to get to see the Rick McCallum: And they served us popcorn.
David Oyelowo : And the little cookies, little plane cookies in the Whitehouse.
David Oyelowo : Yeah!
David Oyelowo : One of the best things that has happened to me during the course of this experience is the guy who literally put this bandage on me, you know from the ankle abrasion
