How to pronounce “mousetrap” in English

The actual mousetrap, right.

So everybody picture a mousetrap.

Picture a mousetrap. You're picturing a wooden board, a metal spring, some cheese, because there's always free cheese in a mousetrap.

There are the literal mousetraps, and there are metaphorical mousetraps.

The for-profit world-- you're trying to build a better mousetrap and put it in a black box.

And these things have kind of snapped her mousetrap.

Well, it was like a mousetrap.

Then you give them this last chapter, mousetrap myth thing about, it's not actually about generating great ideas.

And in a not for profit world, the better mousetrap, they say, that's nice, but we fund cats.

You call an exterminator, they will not bring spring loaded mousetraps.

The most devastating story, I talked about this a little bit earlier, that I think we tell ourselves, is the story that I call the Mousetrap story,

And that's what's exciting to me about the landscape that we live in where you have that capability, where someone could just come out a left field with a better mousetrap.

And every year since then 400 patent applications come in to the US Patent Office for new and better, supposedly better, mousetraps.
