If I just try and tell a room of people to remember the word for to fit in Spanish, very difficult to remember caber tomorrow. The misdirect has to be at the end.
It's planning. And as a puzzler and a magician, I operate in that intersection between preparation and misdirection. Now, what this involved was a principle called "the illusion of free choice." And here's what that principle is.
That's what's clever about it. Nolan misdirected it. At first, you were confused. Then, you thought you had it figured out.

So that's the real sweet spot. Little bit of misdirection in these, right?
People lose money. People are tricked. People are misdirected into investments that are not in their best interests. And I haven't made a lot of friends south of 14th street in New York, but all over the country, people get what I'm saying and they agree with it.
