And then the second book is into-- the first book was more about who I am. Maple syrup , depending on the source, you can have so many different flavors.
But you have to use the, like, pronounce-it app. maple syrup , and just nutmeg.
It's like, absolutely. When you go through recovery, you do have to jump off that box, and you have to let the emotions out, which maple syrup et cetera, et cetera, they're not significant enough for it to be that-- to make that change.
Some of these are organic. Even maple lip balm, maple coffees, and maple syrup .
Some of these are organic. The maple syrup is organic.
In most of the sauces that I make, I like to have an acidity and saltiness and a little bit of sweetness, which is why I like adding the maple syrup in there. So you can just taste as you go.
And the traditional way of making a Hollandaise, you make it with tarragon. And maple syrup .
I'm not living totally off the grid, but here we are with the kids harvesting wild rice. We make maple syrup and sugar. We hunt, fish, gather, garden, pick berries, things like that.
Other than that, those dates are actually manufacturers' estimate-- so their best guess-- at when the product is at its top quality or freshness. you can also use maple syrup or honey.
And also trees are incredibly healthy. So obviously from maple syrup to pine pollen, but also to these tree mushrooms that serve so many different functions. This is called turkey tail.
So a little bit of that. And then this is maple syrup , but this could easily be honey. You could even use a pinch of brown sugar.
But I've switched to honey at home, and I put maple syrup when I need to. I put maple syrup in my coffee. I don't know why I think that's tasty.
And the traditional way of making a Hollandaise, you make it with tarragon. A little bit to maple syrup .
And if it had not been for taking the LSATs, the next day calling the guy I called, and him feeling bad but hooking me And he would pour maple syrup all over them.
You're just looking to add a little bit of sweetness. I like using honey or maple syrup mostly because they're already in liquid form, so they dissolve really easily when you're making dressings. They also have a little bit more flavor, which is really nice, as opposed to sugar.
Because again, we have bloggers and influencers who talk about refined sugar free and sugar free cakes, but then you look at the recipes, and they're full of maple syrup and coconut sugar, and that somehow is deemed healthier. But actually, at the end of the day, sugar is sugar.
He made potato chips. We would sit under the maple trees, and they were these beautiful maple trees that he had even made his own maple syrup . And we would have maple walnut ice cream for dessert that he hand churned.
And so we shot that-- that was the master. And so we sent a production assistant out to buy real maple syrup .
like keep adding until you're getting where you want to get all right so I thing that I haven't talked about My Grade B maple syrup I call it a
They're packed full of veggies and sweetened with maple syrup instead of refined sugar.
And I knew it wasn't really going to be maple syrup .
We're already starting to see in the food community that we're probably not that crazy about it anymore. And that the best natural sweeteners are honey and maple syrup , as you find them in nature. And so it's interesting because they think now agave syrup can spike your blood sugar in ways that were not crazy about.
But this is a little more extravagant than with maple syrup and bacon and coffee.
And the traditional way of making a Hollandaise, you make it with tarragon. Strawberries, maple syrup , honey, and powdered sugar.
He made a French toast with panettone with maple syrup .
And so we shot that-- that was the master. And he goes, there's a reason maple syrup is part of the Master Cleanse.
You pay a little more money you might get real crab and real maple syrup , but again, as you go up the hierarchy,

If you don't want to eat sugar, use maple syrup , which is what I have in the recipe.
And so we shot that-- that was the master. All right, we don't need to bring the maple syrup out that I had planned.
I usually use melted coconut oil at home, because it's a really nice source of healthy fats. And then all you're going to season these with is a little bit of salt and maple syrup just to bring out their sweetness a little bit more. Just drizzle that on.
You don't have to. And then just a tiny bit more of-- you can use agave nectar here or just maple syrup . I think it just-- I don't know.
And even if it says organic cane sugar is still sugar, agave is still sugar-- maple syrup .

It was this very bizarre thing where every now again certain neighborhoods on the west side of Manhattan would smell like maple syrup and you'd be
-- You know, the ones that are really expensive is like the maple crystals which is like maple syrup turned into like
But that's-- so this recipe, you slice the squash really thinly and you toss it with olive oil and maple syrup .
But actually, at the end of the day, sugar is sugar. Whether it is molasses, honey, white sugar, maple syrup . And one of my biggest challenges to some of the bloggers-- and I have been on stage with one, but I won't go there.
If you eat any product to excess, any product to excess of what your body needs, it will get stored as excess. The only thing I would say potentially, in defense of some of these other sugars, is that things like maple syrup , honey, they are sweeter. So potentially, you could use less.
It would actually be-- I think the flavor gets better the longer it marinates. Once it's mixed together, you can taste it and see if it needs more lime juice, more salt, more maple syrup . I'm usually adding more of all these things, because I like big, flavorful dishes.
gritty and that's not what we want. So you can at this stage or when you're blending, you can add dates to sweeten or maple syrup or add vanilla if you want to have vanilla almond milk.
I mean, it takes a lot of the sap in order to make a little container of maple syrup .
And I thought, I would love to do a low-sugar, no-sugar version, but with maple syrup .
And then, once the fruit has softened, you add the pectin powder that has been stirred into your sweetener, whether you're using some honey, or maple syrup , or sugar,
So if you like, you can add sugar, or raisins, honey, maple syrup , whatever it is that you like.
