City, and she even performed at the Oscars for her participation in the film "Frida." And what's most exciting is, most recently, in 2020, Lila earned an honorary doctorate from the Berklee School of Music in Valencia, Spain.Dr. Lila Downs, it is my pleasure to welcome you to Talks at Google.

That was awesome. Thank you. So Lila , the musical is based on two films of the same name, and of course, the legend of Anastasia. What makes this stage adaptation different from the previous incarnations?
There is a wonderful word, a Sanskrit word, lila , which means the divine play that creates worlds. What lila presupposes is that we are actually our creations with consciousness, or at least the aspiration towards awakened consciousness that understands the laws of causalities.
