How to pronounce “lichens” in English

Most of the hundreds of kinds of lichens are edible.

In my neck of the woods, they have lichens on them and different fungi.

You know, they've usually got big branches and they have lichens on them.

And then you get in close, and you realize there are vibrant lichens of all different colors growing on the walls, and there's all these patinas
