How to pronounce “length contraction” in English

Well, of course, from the muon's perspective, something else happens when you go close to the speed of light, namely distances shrink. So along with what's called time dilation, the slowing downof time, there's length contraction. And the length contraction is the distance the muon has to travel from the upper atmosphere to sea level. The muon is moving so close to the speedof light that it sees this distance shrunk. And it says, "Well, I'm only living for two microseconds.
