And I think that's a big part of what's driving this change. The author of the book, who was a professor at MIT's Lab for Computer Science, the legendary lab where the internet was, in part, born, was a professor named Tom Leighton, who had been at both Princeton and MIT and was already a world-renowned expert at a very young age on algorithms and distributed systems and using theoretical math to find ways to route information through these distributed systems.
