How to pronounce “laurel canyon” in English

In 1970, my parents did something that no parent would do in their right mind today in today's 21st century, whichis my mom had just gotten her PhD from UCLA, and we were living in Laurel Canyon, where the schools are good and the kids are healthy, and everybody'sgoing to college. And it was a really strong community, as you might imagine from that part of the world.
