How to pronounce“hoobastank”in English

Like for instance, you'll notice that the word Hoobastank was blocked on Weibo for some time, which was weird to me,

But in fact, what I think was happening there was the English word, tank, which is part of Hoobastank, was the blocked key word.

But in fact, when I searched for the word tank at that same time, "tank" was unblocked, and Hoobastank, or maybe the word stank itself, was blocked.
