How to pronounce “good cheer” in English

my boyfriend because on the one hand he was, he was, he was hanging on to me like a drowning sailor, you know, clinging for life, and yet he was also trying to always squash my, squashmy good cheer. And until -- I guess I would say, if you have one of those joyous ones, I have a joyous one in my life, and now I go out of my wayto preserve that. That atmosphere of that joyous one, and not to attack it. Cuz there is that impulse to do it.
