I was getting traded to New Orleans. And it was Golden State , Minnesota, and somebody else. And they were like, all right, we're going to trade you to Golden State .
And it was like five minutes, two minutes-- I was like, fuck it, dude. Just trade me to Golden State . Get me out of here.
Not saying that video games and stuff like that-- but it's a lot of hard work and time put in this. Yeah. Going to Golden State and playing in Oracle Arena, that was not fun.
So they lived it. Because not everybody is going to be the Golden State Warriors in tech.
That machines, first off, are helping a lot of humans make better decisions. Data-driven decision making-- whether it's helping the Golden State Warriors use analytics to understand that three-point shots are worth more than two-point shots. Other things like that.
And I had a next question-- but you kind of answered it-- around the history. You're right that the first Filipino American was Raymond Townsend for the Golden State Warriors. You're the second, and then now, the third is incoming rookie Jalen Green.
And they basically just play his scores. Yes. I was doing this concert with the Golden State Pops Orchestra and they were doing a video game music concert.

A while back, I had come back from New York with my tail between my legs, having worked NBA PR. I couldn't find a job and I had a lot of free time. So, I just wanted a respite. I wanted something enjoyable to do. And so I sought out the Golden State Warriors. And as anyone who follows the Golden State Warriors, might be able to jump ahead of me in the conclusion. It was not relaxing. Indeed, it was actually just more frustrating.

Very cool. Talk about getting traded. I think Wikipedia, where I did some of my research yesterday, said that you were thrilled to come to Golden State , because you always wanted to come back to California.
And I say most of the time because I've got a good friend in the Barbershop Harmony Society, who above his desk has a sign that says "competitions are mostly for losers." Because if you think about it, I don't care if it's baseball, if it's hockey, if it's soccer-- not basketball, because Golden State Warriors are going to win the whole thing.
