Like, you know, we went into a period of glaciation where the pretty much the entire planet was under ice.

And it's also hard-- you know, North America has had these cycles of glaciation, where big ice sheets pushed down through across the continent

But then before that, the evidence from the previous glaciations gets wiped away by the new ones, and so a lot of the reconstructions
