I don't think Jesus, if you look at the text of the New Testament carefully, thought he was God. In fact, there are times where he said don'tcall me teacher. You have only one teacher or master and that is God. Or in the garden of Gethsemane near the endof his life, when he realized what he was facing in terms of possible execution, he said, God, please take this task from me.
