It adds up to about $119 billion. Food waste is the number one cause right now to global warming.It is the number one thing in our dumps and in our landfills.

And that's where I think maybe we should start. Reduced food waste , I think, is pretty compelling, coming in at number three of 80. So about 1/3 of the food that we produce around the world, and about 40% in the US, is not consumed.

A lot of people also, with the economic impacts of the pandemic, are motivated to use every scrap. This is reducing food waste or at least intentions to reduce food waste . I don't know about total consumption data or waste data so far.
It looks at the way Afong Moy affected American life at the time. It looks at food waste , use of Chinese objects in the home, hairstyles, and so much more. And the book also addresses how and what Afong Moy was able to share about China and also how Americans responded to her commentary.

Today, most people think about hunger. But few about food waste , that is it's cause. So we spent a great deal of time and money to feed the hungry, without actually solving hunger.
AmpleHarvest.org leverages its technology, and many of the Google resources, to pair growers with local food pantries. It addresses both food waste as the underlying cause of hunger, as well was hunger itself. They use the internet to bring extreme market efficiency to what is in the past has been a very inefficient process.

insecure would eliminate hunger, which means that there's still 2/3 of food waste leftover that needs to be reduced as well, which is why there's the food waste hierarchy of reducing it on source and then feeding people, feeding animals, composting, and then lastly, landfill.
