What motivated you? Well, there's a lot of answers to that question, I guess, but the-- so for anybody that hasn't seen the film, Eduardo and I had a very turbulent relationship. And about-- I think it was about 10 days before he was injured I was like, you know what, I'm gonna go.
possible. So I have a two-part question, really. Eduardo , people find themselves in a situation like yours, right, or a medical situation, how important it is to have an advocate, both in termsof getting your life back on track and I would also posit actually helping navigate the medical industrial complex, where you have doctors all over the place?
Two geeky guys who had a lot of trouble meeting girls-- Mark was really smart with computers. Eduardo had made a lot of money trading stocks, and his family was rich. And Eduardo had wanted to be a member of this finals club, The Phoenix, and got in.
So he's got that kind of mix of cool and geek going on. Eduardo thinks he's a snake oil salesmen.Eduardo doesn't like Sean at all.

So they invite Eduardo out to California. Eduardo shows up and walks into a room full of lawyers. He thinks that they're his lawyers.
And that's when I came into the story. Eduardo wasn't supposed to be talking to anybody. He was in the midst of this massive lawsuit.
and nearly taking my life. So Eduardo , one thing that really makes me stop and think here is that you're a person, both now and before the injury, before the incident, someone who really depends on your body, right?
And so I'm thinking about your relationship, right. So Eduardo , Jen, what was your relationship like before this happened, and what is your friendship like now? And how has that changed?
Eduardo had made a lot of money trading stocks, and his family was rich. And Eduardo had wanted to be a member of this finals club, The Phoenix, and got in. Mark couldn't get into a finals club.

Let me begin by introducing you properly. We have Eduardo Garcia, subject of the film "Charged"-- documentary, rather-- Jennifer Jane, his longtime friend, subject of the film, as well. And actually, they're both co-founders of Montana Mex food company, a Bozeman, Montana based specialty foods company.
And what did that teach you? And having watched Eduardo through this, like, what did you see? And also, how do people react to you differently, right, before and after?
Yeah. I think when you go through something like this with someone, it definitely forces you to shift the less important stuff to the side. I think maybe if Eduardo hadn't been injured, we would have probably gone our separate ways maybe more quickly. But you develop-- I think they call it a trauma bond, is what they call it, is when you're really with somebody the whole time.
And it was in the Bar 10 at the Westin I don't think that's still around, but if you remember that. And in walks Eduardo Saverin. And if you saw the movie "The Social Network," he looked a lot like Andrew Garfield-- not as good looking as Andrew Garfield,
We need to get rid of this guy, basically. So they invite Eduardo out to California. Eduardo shows up and walks into a room full of lawyers.

And like Scott himself and Eduardo , I got interested in artificial life projects a few years ago and Couch Potato Farm was my first work investigating artificial life. Previously, I'd worked in steel sculpture and landscape art and then started to transition to electronic works.
So I had a camera. I was used to filming Eduardo . So that was one side of things.

I think we were actually very fortunate in the sense that we co-own the same company.

Stuart Newman: When you start to genetically engineer animals as part of an artwork, I think that you're really beginning to cross a line that isn't necessary to cross.
And, into the eye of the storm. There we go. Thanks. presenter: We have a few minutes for questions for Eduardo . All the way in the back. Male audience member #1: So, I think that obviously the rabbit thing . I
A few years later, I was going down to Santiago and I sent him an e-mail. I said, "Eduardo , I'm going to be in Santiago. Will you want to grab a cup of coffee? I'd love to find out what's going on with you.” And he said, "Absolutely.” But as the time came up, he was really too

But it doesn't mean that this can't be beautiful still, you know, how I view myself. So, you know, Eduardo , one thing that kind of blew me away was the fact that you were in the hospital, you were recovering from this, and you found out at that same point in time that you were suffering from testicular cancer.
I think, you know, life or death seems to be the great equalizer, right? And then if-- if we can share this film and somehow access a part of someone that is not Eduardo Garcia, but is somewhere
I get it. I get it. But he disappeared, and I have not spoken to Eduardo ever since. Facebook comes to me and is like, what are you writing, all this kind of stuff.
And five minutes into our meeting, he looks at his watch and said I know, you probably want a meeting with George Soros, who was his largest investor. And I looked at him and I said no, Eduardo . I'm an entrepreneur. You're an entrepreneur.
And so we were racing. So to give you an idea, the name of that book was "Le Bourda de Eduardo ." Which I think just means Ed's wedding.

O evento contava com uma ferramenta de marketing muito grande.

Tanner was just basically the tie between the skater group-- Victoria, who played Ryan, and the jock group, which is Eduardo and Mason. And he was just kind of a lonely dude there, just kind of cruising around on his four wheels, just going about.
