A lot of groups will be volunteering the rest of year. Earth Day is every year.But you have to get started somewhere.
So what are we gonna do with that knowledge? Forty years from now we didn't know, we didn't know what we were doing to the entire planet. And I truly believe that 40 years from now, Earth Day is 40 years old today. So 40 years from now I think it'll be too late. The biggest changes we wanted to make, it'll be too late to make those changes. The animals you wantedwould be gone. We wouldn't have the services that people depend on.

Well, Earth Day was big from the beginning, and it was organized from the outside as a coalition approach. The international Earth Day theme has pretty much always been think globally, act locally. And so we basically put up flyers.
So we see a lot of that kinds of thing. Early in Earth Day , people introduced community-supported agriculture in this region, you may or may not m San Diego has the largest number of organic farms in the state of California.
I'll give you a quick overview and then over the course of this presentation tell a little bit more about the company. I was thinking about Earth Day as a day where we're all supposed to be trying to take a day to think about how we can do more to help the environment. As I was thinking about that, and I've been thinking about recently that the evolution and the progression of clean tech companies over the last 5 years since I got into this

And there's also other things to talk about-- removing barriers, why people don't take action, why they do. But in essence, Earth Day is really about we need to build the world to live in. Environmentalism throughout the ages has had to stop, or try and stop, a lot of things, and that's important work.
