So this kind of force that is the conquering, raid, violent, intense explorers, it's like ashort-lasting thing, a couple of generations at most.
Also, very interesting and totally an aside, there was a paper that came out in "Science" last year that talked about a few choke points in human civilization . I don't know if any of you saw this, but there were at least two or three points when they believethe human population was down to as little as 4,000 to 8,000 people, meaning we came really close to extinction many, many times over the last 250,000 years.
If we agree with Bonhoeffer, if we even partially agree with Bonhoeffer that stupidity is a greater danger to society than evil and we agree with Aristotle that a mafia is the greatest threat to civilization , then how can we resolve that? What steps can we all take to remove stupidity from society? Well, I would argue that there are three things that we can do.
