I'm sorry. This is a fanboy moment for me right now, so I'm going to be a little nervous. It gives me immense pleasure today to host this talk with the king of bhangra, Malkit Singhji. And if time permits, we may get a little glimpse of his magic, with the tumbi.

During the daytime, we operate in a Western way. But the moment the office hours are over, the bhangra and the dancing and the fun starts, and the prayers and the various other activities and the rare festivals and the work and the life and the fun seamlessly integrate.
So there's been a massive change, absolutely huge, and I'm really, really glad about it. You see Black. You see all types of different mix and all types of music coming together, whether it be bhangra, whether it be Afrobeat, whether it be reggae.
