After these few Jews got out-- there were really only 100 Jews that got out from Bergen-Belsen.

But on the train, the second night after leaving Bergen-Belsen, he was so weak that he died in Irene's arms on the train.

But like a lot of British troops, if you were in a certain division at a certain time, you know, you ended up passing very close to Belsen,

And then after about eight months in Westerbork, we were transported to another concentration camp in Germany called Bergen-Belsen.

Now, in North Africa, certainly life was considerably better than Bergen-Belsen.

It was, on the one hand, very painful, especially to go back to Bergen-Belsen.
