How to pronounce “bar car” in English

Here's one from the New York-New Haven, which went up from Grand Central Station up the Housatonic, and unloaded all of its cyclists to go off into the countryside,and then come back and have a wonderful time in the dining car, in the bar car and whatnot.And I've often thought of this as just a very large singles club on wheels, which it really functioned that way at the time.
