And so it occurs to me that one of the things that having a bunch of consonants at the end does is it stops the word.So if what you want to do with profanity is to express a strong emotion and then be able to quickly curtail the audibleness of that expression,then maybe it would be useful to have something at the end that's not a vowel, but a consonant.
