How to pronounce “angel food” in English

The angel food cake in the first book, I think, uses 12 eggs, and I think this cake might use 8 or 12 eggs.

So I feel like ice creams use a lot of egg yolks, and then meringues and chiffon cakes and angel food cakes use a lot of egg whites.
